"Lebenssaft"
Developed the movement language and provided on-set movement direction for a fashion art short film set in a pathology, where haute couture fashion met themes of mortality and the human body.
Working with both professional dancers and models with varying levels of movement experience, I created choreography and guided physical expression to establish a cohesive visual language that supported the film's atmosphere and narrative. My role focused on using movement as a tool for image-making, translating conceptual ideas into striking cinematic compositions.
Project one
Music Video
Developed the movement concept and choreography for the acoustic music video of the indie pop single Etabliert, translating the song's poetic narrative into a visual exploration of human connection. Rather than relying on acting, the story was communicated through partnering, physical proximity and the space between bodies, allowing movement to become the primary storytelling device.
The choreography was created in close dialogue with the camera, considering each shot as part of the movement itself and integrating cinematic composition into the creative process. Through guided improvisation, the project encouraged authentic and spontaneous moments to emerge, resulting in a natural and emotionally resonant visual language. In addition to movement direction, I also performed in the video, allowing for a highly collaborative and hands-on creative process.
